Wayne's problem-solving creative design roots go back his academic credentials. Wayne has a B.S. and M.S. degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan as well as a B.S. in Engineering from Calvin University. That helped hone Wayne's ability to quickly assess client needs, focus on the impacted processes, and delivery innovation and timely solutions.
Wayne was an early champion on creative web-based training. In 1998, Wayne was invited by he Commerce Dpt. of the U.A.E. to speak on creative online interactions for web-based training delivery at an international conference in Abu Dhabi. Popular Brazilian Executive and Speaker, Paulo Pizzaro, who attended that presentation, called Wayne "a genius" for what was presented at a time when the idea of training over the internet was not yet popular or widely used anywhere. That's quite a contrast from online trainings use today.
Wayne, early on, recognized to power and potential of Articulate Storyline 360 for developing both traditional presentation style as well as scenario-based exploration training. He has used Storyline for over 10 years.
Wayne was also an early adopter of Zoom.us way before the Covid-19 pandemic accelerated it's popularity. Wayne worked with a client to delivery live Zoom training sessions complete with breakout rooms to practiced presented skills.
Because of his unique skill set, clients request Wayne not only design and develop training, but also to create technical documents that people can easily understand. That could include, operations manuals user guides, and job aids. Wayne's strength is he ability to quickly absorb highly technical tasks and translate into terms that anyone can comprehend.
